Three Bean Chili Recipe




6-8 Servings)


Ingredients Needed:

  • 1 jar of Three Bean Chili Mix

  • 10 cups of water (or broth for extra flavor)

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

  • Optional: 1 lb ground beef or turkey, cooked and drained



On The Stove

Instructions:

  • In a large pot, add 10 cups of water or broth and bring to a boil.

  • Add the beans, seasonings, and diced tomatoes (add cooked meat if using).

  • Reduce heat to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 1.5 to 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally.

  • Check the beans for tenderness and add more water if needed to prevent drying out.

  • Once the beans are tender, adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.


Insta Pot

Instructions:

  • Add 10 cups of water or broth, beans, seasonings, and diced tomatoes (add cooked meat if using) to the Instant Pot.

  • Stir everything together and seal the lid.

  • Set the Instant Pot to Manual/Pressure Cook on high pressure for 45-50 minutes.

  • Once the cooking time is up, allow for a natural pressure release for 10-15 minutes, then carefully release any remaining pressure.

  • Open the pot, check the beans for tenderness, and adjust seasoning as needed.

  • Serve hot!


Slow Cooker

Instructions:

  • In the slow cooker, combine 10 cups of water or broth, beans, seasonings, and diced tomatoes (add cooked meat if using).

  • Stir everything together, then cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beans are tender.

  • Check the beans for tenderness, and add water as needed.

  • Once cooked, adjust seasoning and serve hot.
