Ingredients Needed:
1 jar of Three Bean Chili Mix
10 cups of water (or broth for extra flavor)
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
Optional: 1 lb ground beef or turkey, cooked and drained
On The Stove
Instructions:
In a large pot, add 10 cups of water or broth and bring to a boil.
Add the beans, seasonings, and diced tomatoes (add cooked meat if using).
Reduce heat to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 1.5 to 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
Check the beans for tenderness and add more water if needed to prevent drying out.
Once the beans are tender, adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
Insta Pot
Instructions:
Add 10 cups of water or broth, beans, seasonings, and diced tomatoes (add cooked meat if using) to the Instant Pot.
Stir everything together and seal the lid.
Set the Instant Pot to Manual/Pressure Cook on high pressure for 45-50 minutes.
Once the cooking time is up, allow for a natural pressure release for 10-15 minutes, then carefully release any remaining pressure.
Open the pot, check the beans for tenderness, and adjust seasoning as needed.
Serve hot!
Slow Cooker
Instructions:
In the slow cooker, combine 10 cups of water or broth, beans, seasonings, and diced tomatoes (add cooked meat if using).
Stir everything together, then cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beans are tender.
Check the beans for tenderness, and add water as needed.
Once cooked, adjust seasoning and serve hot.
